Efraim – Spanish Quarter, Naples

One of the current projects supported by Amoris is located in the very poorest section of Naples called the ” Spanish Qauarter”. A small group of Nuns run a organization called “Efraim” where they offer an after school program to the local children who suffer from a very difficult family environment. Sue teaches and plays for about 20 children every week; they also sing and talk about life and what is happening in the world.
Sue performed an intimate benefit concert April 27th to raise money for Efraim. The concert was organized by friends of the Amoris Foundation with the expressed purpose of raising enough money to purchase or arrange a long term rental of a piano for Efraim to expand and support their music program. The benefit was successful and a piano (as seen in the picture) was delivered to Efraim the following day.
